ABOUT THE FILM

„After the end of war you start paying the price for war.“

The Lebanese civil war came to an end in 1992. For 17 years, it defined daily reality for the Lebanese people. This film does not focus on blood and violence, but their unseen shadows touch every picture, every wish, every attempt to understand.

VOICES OF(F) – BEIRUT presents the thoughts and feelings of five members of the Lebanese war-generation who speak frankly about life, in what was once one of the most war-torn places on earth.
